It’s the 2009 Year Ender Episode with not two… not seven… but FOUR Komikeros at the microphones. Listen to EJ, Alex, John, and Migs recount the year’s best and worst comic moments, single issues, moments, and of course, ongoing titles. Enough with the preamble — this episode’s jam-packed, so get to listening!
And the hits just keep on comin’ as Alex and John bring you reviews of the recent week’s hottest books — Punisher Annual #1, Superman: Secret Origins #1, and Giant-size Wolverine: Old Man Logan #1! We also kick off a new segment: AUDIENCE REVIEWS, where we read your reviews of the latest comics you’ve read. After a round of Quick Shots and War of Thumbs, the boys talk about the power of digital comic distribution.
EJ, Alex, and John take time off from their usual earth-saving shenanigans to bless you guys with some comic reviews — Batman: Cacophony #1, Action Comics #871, and Wolverine (Old Man Logan) # 69. After a round of quick shots, the boys express their views about Beyonce wanting to be Wonder Woman, Brett Ratner’s Conan, and the absence of a squid in the upcoming Watchmen film.
In place of a panel discussion, a listener’s question from last week is answered, and don’t forget to check out the new profile page up top, right above the comments section.
